Heavenly Water

Maji Yambinguni in Swahilli

Amazi Yo Mwijuru in Kirundi

This is the newest Ministry in Bujumbura, Burundi, Africa, born in the idea of collecting Water from Heaven in Rain Barrels, it sure beats hauling it in 5 gallon jugs from Wells and Springs, which is the common practice there now. In addition to a Rain collection system, each household that "buys" one will also get a Free Bible for every member of that home in whichever language they prefer, most likely Swahilli or Kirundi, there are some English speakers too; I was blessed to meet Leonce Bukuru online and get him started with his own Ministry that will be of great help to him, his family of 5 and those in his village, we will expand beyond that as his Ministry grows over time. Most people there can't afford to buy Rain Barrels, so he will not only set the collection system up for his neighbors, but will allow them to pay for them as they are able over time in order to give him a very modest income and allow him to buy more Barrels or, thick plastic trash cans to provide a Water collection system to whoever wants one in his Village.

I sent him enough money to buy food such as Rice, Corn and Beans in 50 Kg bags so his family has plenty to eat and he can also sell/give much of it to his neighbors reguardless of their ability to pay right away. He has a notebook to keep track of where the food goes and who owes him, I foresee him forgiving quite a few debts in the future, I'll be happy to "cover his losses", it's more important that his neighbors can eat and drink rather than make a profit, but I would like to see him have some sort of sustainable income eventually in the future. I'm investing in Leonce by getting him started slowly in a "business" that is expected lose money. It's my concept of using Special Operations Tactics in Spiritual Warfare only in this case the enemy is hunger and thirst. Good Water and Food are essential for human survival and Burundi is suffering through a Famine now, we're going to see what we can do about that on a small scale and hope that Maji Yambinguni develops to the point where it will make a significant difference in many lives, by God's Grace, I'm confident it will.

Here's a picture of where he got his water until he set up a collection system at his house. He had to carry that 5 Gal/20 Liter jug on a 10 minute walk, now he only has to do that in the dry season when there's little rain. The tank he set up is 210 Liters, 10 times what he had to walk 10 minutes for before, he guesses with the rain gutters and other parts, it cost him about $150 or, 300,000 BIF (Burundi Francs), that's an investment that should last for years and make a great difference in their lives and those of his neighbors.

I love doing this for him and wish I could do more, but my latest "hobby" is more expensive than Skydiving. I'm using my PayPal account to take donations for his Ministry because banking in Africa is difficult, I've been sending him money about twice a month for the past couple months and would sure appreciate anything you can contribute to help Heavenly Water's really take off. I can assure you that whatever you donate will be sent to him, I gave him more than a Million BIF to open two bank accounts there for this Ministry, it was well spent and made a huge difference in his family's lives, it's only going to get better from where we started. His family and his Village will never be hungry or thirsty again if there's anything I have to say about it. I want him set for Life and not just his, but all those around him
